Patton Oswalt the comedian and the rat from that rat chef movie is writing a comic based around Wash that takes place after the movie.

Is it done yet?

How about now?

Now?

Actually, there's an official comic coming, "Serenity, A Shepherd's Tale", or something like that.  It gives the official explanation of where Book came from.

Amazon doesn't know about it yet.

It's Patton Oswalt.

Anything he touches or is even remotely associated with (aside from Leah Remini) is something to be held in great disdain.

He's dead, man.
Yes, he was. He's better now.

As long as it's better than the pre-Serenity comics.
Those were super awful terrible.  I mean they were bad.

I disagree, they were average which is bad enough because they could have been awesome.

I disliked Better Days more than I disliked Pre Serenity.

The art was bad, the story was very awkwardly paced and it was boring.
I'm sure that when Whedon wrote it it was nice, but whoever translated it to comic did a poor job.

So in the part where they mention Morena Baccarin -- did something happen between the cast members to make them not like her, or was that just random?

In the show, Nathan was captainy, Summer was crazy, Jewel was techy, and Morena was a prostitute.

In the fan comic, Nathan was captainy, Summer was crazy, Jewel was techy, and the character assumed that Morena was a prostitute but they corrected him quickly.
