Well looks like the government lied again  :O

Oh and their saving thousands of the images. No this isn't the action of a rouge employee, it seems to be standard practice by the US Marshals Service, although the article is pretty vague on details.

Funny thing is we get scanned and the images saved (after being lied to and told it was IMPOSSIBLE to record images off those machines) for god knows what later on, with no recourse but if a TSA agent scans another TSA agent somehow it suddenly becomes harassment. That's B.S. either the scanners are fine and dandy or their overly intrusive, you can't have it both ways. Gotta love the quote from the hysterical TSA agent too.

I can't bear to think about the body scanner thing. I'm totally traumatised. I've spoken to the police about it. I'm in too much of a state to go to work.

Well some folks have a bit more to hide than others.

More serious note, yup, appropriate outrage time.  It seems the organization is setting itself up as a bastion for pedophiles and pervs.
For our own safety of course.   :police:

Like cattle to the slaughter, people just herd themselves into the scanners gas chambers.  If the people would stand up and tell the .gov enough is enough,  you can not do this to us.  Then back it up by NOT flying for a month, the airlines would jump all over the government and get those machines out of the airports.

It is almost as if TSA wanted to destroy the airlines business.

The government wants to bring the airlines back under their control. And plenty of people support re-regulation...

Well, if you must fly, practice guerrilla warfare. Yep, that's right, think of  the Swedish bikini team or whatever you need to before you get to the scanner. Bonus points if things aren't hanging right, that's asymmetric warfare.

It's called a lie, or mission creep. I remember seat belt laws, when it started, would only (in most states) be a secondary offense. Meaning you couldn't be pulled over only because you were not wearing a seat belt. Now, years later, the creeping. It's a primary offense, you will be pulled over and ticketed. Even "nighttime seat belt enforcement. No reason to stop a motorist other than to "check" if their wearing their seat belt (IOW, a fishing trip).
