Stuff started breaking down around here a couple of weeks ago.  My air compressor quit, my year old dehumidifier quit.  The phone had a loud buzz in it, and when the contractor was trenching for a new line, as soon as he crossed the property line, his trencher broke down, blocking the driveway.  Seems like everything is breaking, and I'm in the middle of busy season at work and in the gardening/canning season.

Be advised; a friend of mine is in the farm chemical business.  He says Amdro is still a good product, but it's been reformulated to only last six months once the package is opened.  Also, remember Chlordane dust?  My dad had a little bit of it left when we cleaned out his garden shed.  My friend said the reason it was banned is because it lasts indefinately.  You can spread it around your house for termites and fifty years later, it's still there and still active.

Oh, yeah, sure. (What the hell is chordane?) ;)

Between your luck, BridgeWalker's luck, and mine, I suspect if I put down Amdro it would kill my lawn and the yard would be one solid ant hill.

Celebrate Labor Day with a $5 pizza and a King of the Hill marathon.  Especially the fire ant episode, or y'know, any of the ones where Dale Gribble is battling the powers of darkness an embodied in random household pests.   =)
