I have so many liberals in my extended family that I've lost count.
Anywho, many of them have friended me on Facebook, a site I never bothered with previously.
One niece posted yesterday about Sarah Palin stumbling over the word "underestimated," instead saying "misunderestimated". My niece and her friends were yukking it up, so I thought I'd try baiting them. I said, "Did you hear Sarah Palin say that FDR went on TV in 1929 to reassure Americans about the economy? The only problem is that FDR wasn't president in 1929, and there was no TV in 1929."
I wanted to see if they'd take the bait, or if they were sufficiently well-read to know that it was Biden who said that. Nope. They were, like, totally OMG, ROFL, LMAO. So I burst their bubbles and told them it was Biden, then steered them to the Katie Couric interview, as well as to some other sites that list Biden and Obama gaffes.
They're cute, but they sure ain't smart.
