A Canticle For Leibowitz

I found it at a yard sale a couple of months ago, and the name looked familiar, so...

Great read.  I presume everyone else has read this, as you're all a bunch of sci-fi geeks, neh?

Oh yes.  One of my absolute favorites for many, many years.  I introduced my son to it a few years back.  It's now one of his faves too.

I am still looking forward to reading it for the first time.   =)
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My wife often says to me, "You are evil and must be destroyed." She may be right.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.

One of the well-deserved classics of science fiction.  A truly great novel.

Yup.  Long time, maybe high school or college.  1975.  Not since.

It was part of our required reading in my HS Honors American Studies class.

So is this going to start the post apocalyptic fiction fest?  SM Stirling, "Dies the Fire".  Next?
