Man. This gives me the urge to build a remote control scale model of the HMS Victory. Load the cannons, drive out onto the pond, pull up along side another model boat and broadside it.
I can't believe it! My brother and I used to sail model sailboats in Kissena Park Lake when I was a kid, and something similar to this was a seekrit eevill dream of mine.
But the only radio control at the time (~1948-1950) was very primitive, and control was only with sequential pulses --first one kicked rudder right, second one neutral, third one left, fourth one back to neutral, at least for the aircraft RC models. There was no second channel to have any fun with. Like releasing model bombs or setting off model cannons.
I can't believe others have had that same seekrit eevill dream.
