i want this!
« on: September 15, 2010, 02:25:06 PM »
It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

One of those set to a Christmas tree timer set to run 10 minutes on every hour would amuse my dogs all day long.

With a few modifications that could be used for so many things.
Add a self feeding magazine
Proximity or photo sensor
and it could be used to ward off sales people, JWs and other unwanted visitors.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

1. My dog already lives in fear, without robots in the house.

2. I doubt she would be able to learn how to use it anyway.

Seems kinda sad....kinda like a kid who's only friend is an imaginary one....  :'(
Impressed yet befogged, they grasped at his vivid leading phrases, seeing only their surface meaning, and missing the deeper current of his thought.
