Now that's actually neat
« on: September 22, 2010, 07:57:07 AM »
Rarely do I say anything good about tax collectors, but here:

I have filled out my tax declarations in April this year.

Having now logged in on the Israeli Ministry of Finance site that deals with such thing, I am most pleased to discover I remain exempt from the income tax all the way up to March 31, 2011.

And my business income is exempt from VAT payments, too.

Leech!  Drag on society!

The only honorable way to avoid taxes is to make so little that they won't bother with you.

Or earn so much you can structure tax shelters and dodges.

I'm rapidly closing in on the first method.

stay safe.
If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of a constitutional privilege.

Same here  =(

the first method can be ok, or suck badly.

sadly with the current push to burn the nation(to the ground no less), i don't believe the retire with enough money to live off of strategy. is going to entail not paying taxes [tinfoil]

i hope that was a joke.

Yes, taxes are horrible, as is the whole bureaucratic nightmare a small business owner must contend with.

So that's why I'm waiting until after the apocalypse to open my subterranean rat-burger stand/cigar bar.
I promise not to duck.
