They have a really entertaining show called Bulls**t that I watch occasionally, since my brother-in-law TIVOs it.  The premise is that they pick a topic that people hold near and dear and accept unreservedly (AA, the War on Drugs, et cetera) and debunk it.  Whether or not you agree with some of the topics of choice, the idea is great.  Last night we watched the episode about PETA, and it was astounding.
I don't really want to turn this thread into PETA-bashing (although I'm always happy to bash PETA), I just thought some of y'all might enjoy the show.  If you get a chance, check it out.

I will have to check them out.  I went on my honeymoon in Las Vegas and my wife and I went to see Penn and Teller.  It was great.

One of my favorite shows.
Disenchanted with the Libertarian party and seeking practical ways to promote personal liberty.

I liked the one on recycling, they said the only type that works is aluminum cans. They can turn them around fast enough to make it worthwhile, all other forms of recycling is a waste of tax dollars and BULL****.

The PETA one was good also, thems is some off the wall nuts!

It's an awesome show. I watched one of the early episodes on comcast's "on demand" the other night. They were lampooning the "end of the world" people. At that point they were talking about this half-baked "wilderness survival school" and the worthless skills that were taught there, in particular attempting to kill game with a sharp stick (literally) and rub sticks together to make fire (literally). Penn made the comment that if you want to be prepared to just buy a case of ammo and a box of matches instead. They seem to have a generally pro-gun or at least neutral-gun bend. I heard somewhere that they are libertarians, which would make sense based on what I have seen of them.

On one of their shows concerning environmentalists they actually pulled the "hydrogen dioxide" gag and got a bunch of them to sign a petition to ban the substance (hydrogen dioxide = water). They also made a point of highlighting the alterior political (socialist) motives behind many of the larger environmentalist groups.

After seeing their Las Vegas show I would say they are very pro gun...and fearless...and I could see them being very libertarian.

P&T are great.  They taught me one of my favorite tricks- sneaking a small individually packaged creamer into your hand, waiting till the right moment, and loudly announce that you are going to poke out your eye with a fork.

Grab a fork, put your hand (with the creamer hidden inside your fist) up to your eye, aligned so that the foil top is facing out, and start jabbing the fork on through your fist toward your eye.  When the foil is punctured by the fork tines, squeeze it hard.  Scream.

People think you're joking till the white stuff starts pouring out.

I saw them in 2003 in Vegas too.  I got to get up on stage when they do the old "shoot each other in the face with a 357" bit.  They asked for a cop/military guy and one man raised his hand and got up on stage.  They then asked for a collector or a gun nut, and my wife starts yelling and pointing at me.  When I got up there they handed me one of the guns (a Colt 4" revolver), and the ammo they used (looked more like a 38).  They had me draw a design on both the bullet and the brass.  They then shot them at each other and caught them in their mouth.  I got to keep both the brass and the fired bullet.

Still trying to figure out how they did it...

BTW, the show is AMAZING!!
