Howdy APS!
I just wanted to let you guys know about a site that I'm putting together with some colleagues here in Arkansas - the
Shooter's Journal. Our goal is to provide a place for mostly new shooters to learn about the ins and outs of gun ownership - from reviews of specific firearms (and not just new stuff, either, but stuff they might be looking to buy at Joe's Pawn Shop) to gun safety, care, and storage. We launched this afternoon, and so far we only have one article posted - a
Remington 870 review - but we will be gaining content quickly. We have a freelance gun writer (Kevin Gibson) on staff, and will be using him until his finger bleed from typing.
The site is currently in blog format, until we get enough content put together to fill a more newsmagazine-stlye layout. Once we get there... who knows where we'll end up.
I'd really appreciate it if some of you swung by from time to time and let us know what you think. Starting a website is like shouting from a stage into an empty auditorium until you get search engine traffic built up, and any feedback you might be willing to give would be greatly appreciated and used to improve the site going forward.
