At some point the MSM should wake up and strat covering this:

BULLETIN: Bellevue group calls for Senate investigation of ATF controversy

Alarmed at the growing controversy surrounding a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives gunrunning sting operation, the Bellevue-based Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms urged its members Friday afternoon to call the U.S. Senate and demand a “full and open inquiry” into the affair.

Just a suggestion, given that I'm not a mod and don't really even have any infulence with them, but it would be appreciated by me at least if you'd give a bit more of an explanation why you think this is something we need to take an active interest in.  I don't argue that they are important topics, and I thank you for bringing some of it to our attention.  However, most of the topics you've posted have been lacking in commentary from you.

I second sumpnz's notion.  While they are interesting topics, your thoughts about why we need to take notice would be appreciated.  Otherwise, it appears to be what we call a "drive by" posting on APS, and those are typically ignored.
Also, to make it easier on yourself, you can imbed the link in a word or phrase using a "descriptive link", rather than posting the full link and a "tiny url" version.  Information on how to do that is available in the help section if you are unfamiliar with the process on a Simple Machines board.

Thanks, CSM.

If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My wife often says to me, "You are evil and must be destroyed." She may be right.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.

On the other hand, I have no problem with the way he has been doing it.

He does the same thing on GRM and THR.

Yes, he does the same thing on GRM and THR.  But he is on APS now.

You 'spected rong.

We talk, dialogue and debate here.  Sometimes we throw poo at the monitor like shrieking howler monkeys while talking/debating.  But talk/debate is the requisite.

Don't take it badly, CSM Kersh.  What I wrote was meant as friendly advice, nothing more.  I'm sure your posts can contribute to discussion here.  It would just be better if they were not perceived as drive-by posts.
We have a distinct culture at APS, one that has developed over the years, and drive-by posts do not go over well here.

AZRedhawk, I'm fresh out of howler poo 'cause my last order is late.  You got any extra you can loan me? =D

How about if I just say that I'm hurling poo? If I did it for reals, that would be stinky.

Both "culture" and "cult" presume some sort of organization, which we don't have. We have a bunch of anarchists who've agreed to a few basic rules, such as no drive-by posting and no bacon-stealing.
