The Grass Valley Union reports that Nevada County police received a call Monday afternoon from a Grass Valley woman who complained that her ex-boyfriend had posted photos of her on Facebook that he refused to take down. When contacted by authorities, the man said he had removed the pictures.

My ex wanted me to take her picture off my facebook, I told her to leave me alone.
If the cops tried to get involved I would certainly tell them the same.
What law could they possibly cite?

Am I wrong? I guess if its a porn pic or something that violates the T.OS but other then that, its his picture, his profile, his computer. ... Grass Valley P.D must have plenty of time on their hands.

Politicians and bureaucrats are considered productive if they swarm the populace like a plague of locust, devouring all substance in their path and leaving a swath of destruction like a firestorm. The technical term is "bipartisanship".

  • WTF?
They made up cyberstalking and cyber-bullying laws to protect the chilluns from each other, but those laws can and have been applied to adult-on-adult person of legal age-on-person of legal age shennanigans.

Strange that the noosepaper merely mentions that he had "pictures" of her on his page, but specifies that she retaliated with "nude pictures" of him, about which he called the cops who then made her take them down.

stay safe.
If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of a constitutional privilege.

Hey you kids!! Get off my lawn!!!

They keep making this eternal vigilance thing harder and harder.  Protecting the 2nd amendment is like playing PACMAN - there's no pause button so you can go to the bathroom.
