A suspect identified by today’s Seattle Times as Billy Chambers – one of three individuals convicted in the infamous 2008  “Tuba Man” murder  -- is a walking advertisement about why private citizens carry guns.

Indeed, with guys like him around, the Bellevue-based Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms will never want for lack of bad examples. One picks up fast on public sentiment against this guy in the reader feedback sections of the Times and SeattlePI.com.

Bloodlust is not a nice thing to try and provoke.

Yes, apparently the system(s) is failing both him and us.  Is that news?  No.

Is it good to know what to be prepared for?  Yes.

Will everybody (in Seattle and elsewhere) reading about this cause anything to change?  Probably not.

stay safe.
If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of a constitutional privilege.

Hey you kids!! Get off my lawn!!!

They keep making this eternal vigilance thing harder and harder.  Protecting the 2nd amendment is like playing PACMAN - there's no pause button so you can go to the bathroom.

You think Mr. Workman is trying to provoke blood-lust?

isn't his paycheck linked to the number of people who click to read his pieces?
It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.
