Is Your Local Mayor Working Against You?

And what, if anything, are you and your friends doing about it?  Well, out in Washington State, the CCRKBA has decided enough is enough and have targeted* 19 mayors who have joined with NYC's Mayor Bloomberg in working to end your rights to firearms.  Perhaps we all should see where our elected local government stand on the issue.

The Bellevue-based Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms essentially served notice yesterday to 19 mayors in Washington State that an anti-gun effort they are supporting is being challenged.

   Perhaps the mayors of Chewelah, Pe Ell, Morton, Mesa, Kalama and Connell didn’t realize they are helping anti-gun New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg in his campaign, but they are because they are all members of Mayors Against Illegal Guns (MAIG).

I doubt the mayor of my Podunk town even knows what Bloomberg's group is.

The previous mayor of Tulsa about jumped through her own rectum disavowing any allegiance with Bloomberg when a big list of his mayors cam out. Local opinion was that she just didn't like it being public info.

I believe you cracked a code.
I have a feeling that a lot of the mayors on this list aren't going to be very happy when their gun-toting constituents discover their elected chief of state is dancing with the dark side.

As I noted in that column Sam linked, some of these folks live in communities where rifles in gun racks is a pretty common sight.
