I read somewhere he got a hairline fracture on the shin, in the vid his shins came into contact with a planter or something, not directly on the ground and he did limp considerably. I don't know how true it is, it did look like quite a slam. I am willing to bet he will leave Casey alone in the future.

An observation...it looks like at some point, all of us have had to deal with a bully. On one way or another, we all dealt with the bully, and refused to be a victim. None of us went home, plotted a mass shooting, or anything like that. And now, we all continue to make the same choice, to arm ourselves so we won't be victims.

Must be something in the colletcive DNA...

One of my guilty peasure in court when i'm working juvenile is to make bullies cry, then ask them how it feels, and try to get them to understand that's what they do to those they bully. Don't know if it stops the behaviors, but I've seen very few bullies return for the same behaviors.

huh thats right interesting what you say there chris. crying is one of my special goals with the thuggabes i work with. if they cry they have a better chance. i talk about moms to bring it on. talk about their fears how their sons impact them and close with "you know when you look in your moms face and you see that look? you know she still loves ya and all but shes disappointed in her boy?" its quite a caution to see the tough fade at that point and once you cut through that crap you can get something done.

I guess it depends on how young you get them. And by "young" I'm not necessarily talking about chronological age. It also seems to depend on just how much empathy there is to work with.

Having spent so much time around criminals, sociopaths, and just plain scum I am just a bit leery of repentance and remorse being expressed. I much rather prefer to sit back,

, and record behavior over the long term.

Update: Seems the victim has been harassed so much that he considered suicide. Now he's surprised to find that he's an international hero.

Thank you, Pharmacology. I was about to say something about the singular use of "their," especially when the gender is unknown. "Incorrect" or not, it's in common use. And common use is what, over time, changes grammar. Language is not inflexible. My favorite example of this is the changing use of "gun" and its spelling. Oh, and then there's "clip" and "magazine..."

Dincha just love it when the gentle giant finally got pissed at that little schmuck?
