This was pretty shocking. Especially when they compared this guy's salary to what the equivalent position gets at a San Diego (where the cost of living is around 25% higher than Salinas) public hospital. It was nice of this guy to recognize the problem though, and switch all the hospital employees to a 401K right before he stepped out the door.
NOTE: If this was a private hospital, I couldn't care less. This hospital is taxpayer supported.
