Bin Laden apparently didn't fit in in any number of ways.  Look up "homosexual Afghanistan".  Apparently UBL kept his 3 women happy.  Lots of kids there, too, right?  So...

He was Saudi, not any of the many tribes from Afghanistan, if I recall correctly.

I'm still just somewhat amazed by the fact that the World's Most Evil Mastermind did not have more defenses built into his fortress... ???

Like for instance, a few steel cables running between the walls and/or the house, to mess up helicopters trying to land in the yard (I've seen people do this with string or clothesline to keep hawks out of a chicken yard).

And RPGS - where were the RPGS  ???  I can't hardly believe that the Villain of the Millennum didn't have a single awake guard with an RPG, especially after a helicopter crashes in the front yard  ;/

Instead, he has chickens and goats and three wives and porn  :facepalm:
