Damn, they are GOOD. I normally don't like flavored chips, usually preferring plain Lay's or their salt and vinegar chips.
Everybody else will probably hate them though, and they will go off the market. Just like they did with "Nut Lover's Chex Mix.  ;/

Alongside Lime Pepsi and Dark Choc. M&Ms?

Sun Chips Garden Salsa flavor has managed to hang on for a while, and these sound similar.

Yeah, I like those things too.  So does my wife.

Another good one is ketchup flavor, but I've only ever heard of those in Canada.

I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

You should see the stuff they sell around the world. (I used to work for Pepsico)

There was the Cherry Tomato Lay's... not bad.
The Lamb and Mint (UK market under the Walker brand)... A bit odd, but good.
...And then the Korean market stuff.  The one that smelled like kimchi wasn't bad, but there was one that was in a bag printed entirely in Korean and I think it may have been hog anus.

I also hate when the soda companies bottle their weirdo flavors (vanilla coke and Pepsi Max come to mind) in bottles with labels nearly identical to the proper stuff...and naturally I grab the wrong thing when I grab a drink at the convenience store.

I eat a lot of Cape Cod brand chips down here, but Lay's has a line of relatively recent kettle cooked chips that ain't half bad at all, too.

Menard's has the ketchup flavored chips.

We got a couple of Heinz ketchup flavored chips. My wife's nephew is a ketchup addict so we figured he'd like them. He puts ketchup on chips. I thought the flavor was a little weird, but not too bad. I liked the hot sauce flavor better.

I'm sure I'm biased by my upbringing, but nothing beats Kitchen Cooked potato chips.

  • I spent a week in that town one night....
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

Like when you think you're getting a root beer, and it turns out to be that nasty cream soda stuff? Grrrr.

I tried the Tomato & Basil chips the other day.  They were OK, but I wouldn't buy them again.  My eyes say BBQ chips, my brain saw BBQ chips, but my tongue tasted the tomato and basil.  Just didn't work for me.  I weird like that...lol

Kitchen Cooked, now that's the winner right there!  My brother in law lives way out of state, and he loves them as well.  Every year for Christmas we send him a case.  Dang it, now I need to go get a bag.  Luckily we always keep a spare in the pantry!
