My condolences to Glenn Beck listeners
« on: July 06, 2011, 02:50:58 PM »
I would like to offer my most heart-felt sympathies to all who were subjected to the nasal whine of St. Louis's Dave Glover, when they tuned in to the Glenn Beck program today. If it brings any consolation, you were spared the usual, adolescent, "morning zoo" antics of his local drive-time show. He doesn't spend a great deal of time on politics, but when he does he usually manages to be somewhat less of an overgrown teenager and more of an adult.

I still feel sorry for you, though.

Well somebody has to say it - Fistful it's your fault, that Glenn Beck listeners are having to listen to this Dave Glover.

Our major conservative/Clearchannel radio station in Milwaukee dropped Beck for the second time over the course of the past decade, just a few months back in favor of local morning conservative talk instead.

Although I'm sure many find the station's #1 afternoon drive-time guy Mark Belling, who fills in for Rush Limbaugh equally difficult to take.

I promise not to duck.

No great loss here, as I have no need to reinforce any recent gold purchases.

  • I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

not much terrestrial radio out here & I do not have satt radio, I like glenn becks shows a lot, but liked him better 7 to 10 years ago when he had more of a sense of humor.

Politicians and bureaucrats are considered productive if they swarm the populace like a plague of locust, devouring all substance in their path and leaving a swath of destruction like a firestorm. The technical term is "bipartisanship".
