is ron pauls fund raising page for real?

saw this yesterday, and i was wondering how one can tell if my funds would go to his election.  couldn't anyone set up a page like this and reap the winnings.

on another note, he went from $200,000 yesterday to $1,600,000 today!

Because somewhere it would have asked you to donate $X and they would give you back $Y just to get some money. :laugh:

It's very hard to get a signed SSL certificate without proving your identity.

On two occasions, I have been asked [by members of Parliament], "Pray, Mr. Babbage, if you put into the machine wrong figures, will the right answers come out?" I am not able to rightly apprehend the kind of confusion of ideas that could provoke such a question.
