When you say "Christians," do you mean Christians, or do you mean Americans? And what kinds of stores do the Christians own?

4 convenience stores.  the one owner is a deacon. and the other is an active member of his church.
i know all 4 owners and they are all real decent men. or rather 3 men and one woman. the muslims are especially sensitive to their employees who want to be home for the holiday with their families.  they are in a rural area and are new owners.  very sensitive to not ticking off the locals.

Well, that seems kind of sad. On the other hand, maybe the Christian owners have employees that want to work those hours.

oh no  the employees are pissed.
the two muslims? have had more than one person comment to them about how sensitive/nice it was of them to close.   good pr move for a muslim taking over a biz in rural va.

both very young men.  but both advised by , and more importantly listening to, their fathers. and in the one case grandfather as well. i believe the older men provided finanacial backing but the kids are doing it the old fashioned way. long hours and hard work.

Well, the immigrants are just observing the holidays that Americans won't observe :D

I worked for a while at a store run by some "christians."

They were open seven days a week.  That's okay, but everybody should rotate around.  There was a hot young divorced mother that worked there, and since she cared nothing for church, they scheduled her to work every Sunday.  Never mind that was her time with her kids

Anyway, they finally PO'd just about everybody in town and went bankrupt  :P
