« on: December 31, 2011, 06:22:05 PM »
Anyone here using RCR123 batteries? Looking for recommendations on batteries and chargers.

Not I, but I think we had a thread here last year about rechargeable batteries.

I use 123 batteries in my Surefire but not rechargables.  Why spend that money when I can get them most of the time through supply.

I, too, am interested in a 123 charger for my Streamlight.

Batteries @ $7.00 each is ridiculous.

Problem with Streamlight (I have some) is that they state "no rechargeables" in their warranty, much like Surefire. I believe mostly because RCR123s had been a bit twitchy on keeping a steady voltage. I was just wondering if newer ones had gotten better.

People seem to be using them in Fenix lights, but I don't have one of those. I was mostly looking at them both for my rangefinder, and because I was doing my year-end checks of bugout bags and stuff, also for use in my MSR MIOX and Steripen water purifiers.

I've been using these for a while and so far so good.

This site has other brands of cr123's also. Usually good deals all around.
I needed a mod to change my signature because the concept of "family friendly" eludes me.
Just noticed that a mod changed my signature. How long ago was that?

That's a pretty good price for 123's. Thanks for the linkage!
