I disagree with Jon Stewart on several political positions, but clips like this make me think if we ever get a chance to meet, I would still buy him a beer and BS for a while. And if he turned out to be a jerk, I could take him. 

Sadly, I find The Daily Show to be a better source of real news then many actual news shows.  Yeah it's left leaning, but blatantly enough that it's easy to filter, and in actuality, I think, fairer then many actual news programs.

He did a push up contest with an author, who is also a vet, that was a guest on the show at $1000 a pushup.  He lost, and ended up giving $20,000 to Team Red, White, and Blue which is a charity for helping wounded vets transition back to "normal" when they get home.

I like Jon Stewart. While left leaning, he takes the left to task frequently, too.

He's the kind of guy where I feel like we disagree a lot, but I think he arrives at those points of contention honestly.


He ripped up obama over a few things, and pulled no punches doing so.

While I do not completely agree with Stewart all of the time, I do watch his show regularly.

I like his approach, and enjoy all of the relevant older videos that they pull when assaulting some politician.

He carved up Anthony Wiener very hard, even tough Wiener was an old college buddy.

This episode showed his class.

I watch The Daily Show every evening. I often wince, but it's often funny, even when he's poking fun at my side.

Well, yeah, that's some of the best material anybody has ever had to work with. I was about to put a big smiley face here, but then I remembered how much of our tax money was going to ACORN is still going to the descendants of ACORN.

The same can be said about The Onion.

I do like Jon Stewart though.
