Having dinner tonight with some friends their 3 year old daughter comes up to me, rolls up her sleeve, and shows me the needle mark in her arm.
Her: "Justin, look at my ouchie."
Me: "Did you start doing smack!?"
She didn't get it (obviously) but her dad cracked up pretty good.
I pulled back at the last nano-second from saying heroin and used smack because I remember an instance with my own two year old daughter recently. We were watching an old episode of Lost and the Hobbit guy poured some heroin into his palm. My kid put her hand out to me when he did that on screen. I said, "Oh, you want heroin?" and she bounced around the couch yelling "HEROIN! HEROIN!" with her hand out.
I'll admit I'm not the best guy to be around kids.
