It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

He's just getting a head-start. 

They placed the kid in CPS custody before when the mother was high as a *expletive deleted*ing kite. And then they gave the kid BACK to the "mother". WTF?

Oh, wait, it's CPS. I've seen them give the kid back to druggie parents on more than one occassion. Happened to a good friend of mine, even, who had temporary custody of his granddaughter because the mother and father were absolutely worthless POS tweakers. Naturally the court awarded full custody back to the parents.

we had a foster child who was taken from her mother when, at 4 yo, the child was found wandering around a parking lot high on cocaine.  the mom didn't report her missing for 2 days.

i suspect children on drugs is much more prevalent than reported, as addicts want the kid to be "mellow" when they are high.  perhaps not as bad as coke or heroine, but i have heard of parents using benedryl for travelling with young kids as it puts them to sleep.

I know someone who's in jail right now (and rightfully so) b/c they gave benadryl to an infant in their daycare and it killed them.

In the position of hearing (from time-to-time) the stories that don't hit the news. Similar/worse, every day. It's sickening. :mad:
