People in the Midwest: would you buy online from Acme Tools?
« on: April 06, 2012, 08:14:53 PM »
I am looking at a B&D lawnmower, and Acme has the best online price. Is it a reputable company? Would you buy something from them costing a few hundred dollars?

I know nothing about their lawnmowers or tools, sorry.

If I needed a pair of jet-skates, ginormous fireworks-type riding rocket, or real bat-man flying suit, they'd be my go-to company, probably.

No idea how applicable their stuff really is to our area. There's a distinct lack of cliffs, mesas, and natural stone archways in the Midwest.

Let's consider this rationally, shall we?

The only thing I could not find was instantaneous shipping.

Based on all this, I'd say they look like a wonderful company to do business with.  Go for it/

I think ACME tools has lost out by not getting Wile E Coyote to be its spokescritter.

It's not often I get that kind of opportunity just handed to me on a silver platter like that.  Of COURSE I had to take advantage of it!

Never heard of the company I do see that there is a store 40 minutes from my house, I may have to check it out sometime.

If they have the best price, why not buy it. They have real store fronts so at least they are legitimate.

B&D mower is it electric or battery, and I didn't know they made lawn mowers.
