First the motorcycle breaks down. Then the house heat pump went out. Now it's hot in the house... and Amanda's computer (for her bid-nezz) takes a crap because it overheats and fries the damn logic board.

This month sucked for me.  Fixing up the house, clearing all kinds of thorn bushes, car accident, food poisoning, etc.

On the other hand, spent 16 hours drinking on Saturday and hung out with a very pretty lady.  We swapped some great stories.

I need a change of luck.

We just replaced our heat pump.  Praise the Lord we have an HVAC person in the family.  And particularly one that refuses to let us pay for anything more than parts.  Cost us under $1400 all in to get a 4 ton unit put in.

When it stops raining, it really shines!


Today... AC fixed for 250 bucks. Was merely some bad wiring and a bad capacitor.

Harley called me back. Not only are they covering the repair even though I'm 4 months out of warranty, they are REPLACING THE WHOLE ENGINE, for free.

Needless to say, i think i know where to go when I finally buy a cruiser.

It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

Interesting piece. Harley said they'd cover the engine and replacement , but not the diagnostic labor.

Manager of the service shop said "I can invoice you 350 and you can fight it with harley"

I said "how much of that 350 goes towards paying your tech?"

He says "Bout 100 bucks"

I say "Why don't i come in and hand your tech 100 bucks so I don't have to go fight harley"

he says ".... yeah, we can do that."
