The blind Sheik, the one that bombed the basement of WTC in the 90's ... I say "come and get him" but who knows, I wouldn't put it past B.O to release him.
Politicians and bureaucrats are considered productive if they swarm the populace like a plague of locust, devouring all substance in their path and leaving a swath of destruction like a firestorm. The technical term is "bipartisanship".

On the day that Pollard is released, I expect.

I vaguely remember that case, he was caught spying for Israel, right?
I don't see any connection with a deliberate bombing and selling secrets to another country .... I had no idea he was still in jail but admit to not knowing or following the case at all.

The differences and the distance between "bark and bite" in Middle Eastern cultures, and Western ones has always been a big source of disconnect between the two cultures.

"Telling people what they want to hear" has long since been raised to a fine art over there that would make even the most dishonest American politician blush.
I promise not to duck.

Both of these people committed great crimes under American law, because they felt they had more allegiance to some other cause than to the country they were citizens of. People in their home countries are still whingeing at their politicians to 'do something' to have them released, which of course said politicians promise they'll do.
