Army's digital camo is going bye bye

So I wonder if they will end up with Multi Cam.  Are the Marines still happy with MarPat?

I'm glad that it is going away.  I hope multi-cam wins out.  The Marines are quite happy with MarPat and aren't giving up the patent.

All the Army needs to do now is kill off the Black Beret, once and for all.
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

Scout it is all but gone.  The only time it is worn is with Class A's and with the move to the new "Blues" the only ones that will wear it will be below the NCO level.  The bus driver cap is the new standard for NCO's and above.  Of course a commander for "special" events can dictate the wear of the beret in ACU's but I don't know of many that will.

A critique of the reporting on US Army's cammo woes
http://blog.predatorbdu.com/2012/06/top-ten-inaccuracies-in-ucp-camouflage.html
I guess it is a critique, but it reads like it was written by someone who was behind it's adoption defending their choice.
