They already tolerate quite a bit for the sake of fighting the Great Satan.  We know that some Muslim dominated cultures tolerate tolerate some pretty distasteful things.  While that doesn't necessarily speak to the religion, it does tell you something about some of the people involved, and it is the people who we are concerned about.   

Besides, once you believe the ends justify the means, you can convince yourself all sorts of things are okay.

Well, the Saudi assassination did succeed. I have long expected this, look at the example set by heroin and cocaine smugglers who swallowed a lot of product in condoms. Swallow a pound of RDX and you've got quite a bomb, especially in an enclosed space that would fare poorly after rupture.
