Now some Wendy's restaurants are posting "We stand with Chick-Fil-A" signs:

Show of solidarity or hoping the surge in patrons will rub off on them?

Or better yet, him being greeted at the curb with his crap, so he doesn't stink the building up.

As far as Wendy's "joining in," I'm thinking this is more an advertising thing than a real show of support.  But, what the hell, free market FTW.

It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

News crew leaves, because the crowd at Chick-fil-A are supporters, not protestors.

Cannot think of a more apt illustration of media bias.
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

Cannot think of a more apt illustration of media bias.

When I was checking the MSM websites yesterday to see how each of them covered the stories, CNN had nothing, Fox had it prominently at the top and had several stories that focused on not just the gay thing, but also on first amendment rights. MSNBC had a blurb story near the bottom that said something along the lines of "anti-gay protestors at Chic Fil-A" and they had a picture of Pat Boone buying chicken.

Probably should have just shut his mouth, period.  He said enough when he trampled on the Chic Fil A employee.  He was free to say it, he should stay free and own it.  Apologies such as this are not apologies but rather are angst over the fallout that poison speech brings down on one.

especially when he did all the rationalization and justification. he coulda learned from otis nixon of the braves  you ever see his apology? it was short sweet

" "I want to apologize to my teammates, the fans and the kids for letting them down at this time," he said in a statement released by his Richmond-based agent, Joe Sroba. "It is tough for me right now, but I have made the right decisions and the problem and situations at hand are being dealt with.

"I would like the team to continue winning and concentrating on the pennant."
