Juror doesn't show up for deliberations, instead heads to Cancun.  She apparently already had the tickets and figured that she didn't need to tell anybody during juror selection because the trial was only supposed to last a couple of days.

Bonus:  the name of the guy on trial is "Spartacus Outlaw"

Whatever sanction, fine or lecture Samardzic might face from Watts, she'll also be thrown right back into the hopper for jury duty without the usual four-year reprieve.

Community service idea - standing out in front of the courthouse wearing a sign reading "I'm the idiot who skipped out in the middle of a jury trial to go on vacation because I didn't understand what 'duration of the trial' means."
