Eva Longoria's Win/Fail Steak House
« on: September 03, 2012, 11:24:22 AM »
She almost had a great theme, but then she threw the "women only" thing (I know the story said it's open to everyone) into it. When I saw the part about a "1920's steak house" I thought that would be awesome, especially if it was themed like modern Speakeasys are, where they refuse service to people in flip flops and t-shirts.

A 1920's style steak house, where they encouraged attire like black slinky dresses for women and suits and proper hats for men, and where they served whiskey or coffee with your steak dinner, would be a killer Vegas theme, and actually get me to brave the rest of Vegas to give the restaurant a whirl.

What does this mean?

Food blog Eater Vegas reports the restaurant will have a 1920s theme, while the club will have a more theatrical element to it with sexy female performers like Cirque du Soleil, on display.

Cirque du Soleil is not necessarily sexy, nor is it necessarily female. It's a flippin' circus, with a variety of performers. For many of them, due to the costumes, you can't even tell if they're male or female.
