I used to like Alan Keyes before he started playing with the troofers.
Back in the 90s he actually had a rather decent radio program.

That video is so true.
Personally, I do not understand how a bunch of people demanding a bigger govt can call themselves anarchist.

Generally I agree with what he has to say.

He lost me as a "fan" when he came to Illinois and ran for the Senate. He was more interested in being provocative than in actually running a coherent campaign. IMHO he did damage to the cause of liberty here in Illinois by acting like a wack job instead of a serious candidate.
For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse. Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.

I noticed that and it bothered me as well, even though I live in Alabama.  I had thought he was a serious conservative contender but that put an end to any thought I might have of that being true.

Well, you don't have to vote for the man, but just listen to what he is saying. Then go and look at who are the main campaign contributors to both Obama and Romney.

Big money and big media and the two big political parties are bad.  First past the post voting is worse.

Alan Keyes was who the Illinois Deathwish Party found to run against BH0, when that Ryan guy crashed and burned.

I have a picture I shot, of Alan shouldering one of my nerf bazookas

He thought attending a William Shatner paintball event would be a prudent campaign stop in Illinois.

I blame Illinois GOP hacks for BHO.  Nobody forced them to run Keyes.  IIRC, they could have run Mike Ditka.  That would have been awesome!  The only two things better than Mike Ditka in the US Senate would be Dick Butkus or Larry Csonka in the US Senate.  Too damn many QBs and coaches in politics.  We need some linebackers, linemen, and running backs to mix it up.  They are not afraid to muss their hair and tear the heads off their opponents.  Like, just think about what they'd get up and do to Harry Reid if he tried to get in their way.  They'd send him bback to Nevada in 3 or 4 boxes.

Yeah, but I can forgive her her discretions due to certain, uh, assets she brings to the table.

Illinois also gave the country Denny Hastert, a typical Illinois Republican hack.

He doesn't get the blame he deserves for the economic mess he left the country in after his historic run as Republican House Leader.
