Back when I got started in video ......(early 1980s)
I had Betamax and a couple of episodes of STAR TREK were released on Beta. Image was wierdly dark but played OK. One was
"The City on the Edge of Forever," with Joan Collins, and I don't recall the second episode.....
Then Beta went belly-up and VHS took over. And back in the mid 80s the series was released on VHS so many episodes at a time on 60 minute tapes. I recall greedily waiting each new release and adding the new tapes to my ever growing collection....
Then some jackwagon invented DVD. And guess what? Hey, three season on DVD takes up
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY less space than on VHS!
And I see the jackwagon parade continues --
BLUE RAY!!!
Sorry. DVD will have to do................
