Paul Watson resigns from sea shepherd society

And he gets sued for 5 mill by the owner of the addy gil. He deliberately sank her when she coulda been saved. I hope the land sharks render him for lamp oil
It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

Who?

Quote
In the statement issued Tuesday, Watson maintained his innocence, saying, "I myself have never been convicted of a felony crime."

True. When you skip bail and there's no trial, you don't get convicted. But you're not necessarily innocent ...

I've watched several episodes of Whale wars. While I don't condone the Japanese whaling under the "research" cloak, Watson is nothing more than a terrorist. He has deliberately rammed Japanese vessels, and on one occasion had one of his crew actually board a Japanese ship. There's a word for what he does: "Piracy."

And this is all just a ploy. He doesn't think any laws apply to him. His resignation is a cover story. The Sea Shepherd Society will continue to feed and clothe and house him. He'll be on board as an "observer" in name only -- you can bet he'll still be calling the shots.

Damn, I was hoping he got captured by the Japanese. Somehow I doubt they'd let him get away so easily.

Anyone who attempts to disable a ship on the high seas, thus leaving the ship and crew to the mercy of the sea, is a pirate and should be dealt with in the classical fashion.

This.  This this this this.  Once you lose sight of the horizon, it gets lonely out there.  Imagine being 1,000 miles from the nearest land without the chance of rescue for days.
