Thanks for the context. 

I will admit that I've had some thoughts along these lines, as to what the response by both the .gov and the MSM would be if some high-profile murder(s) were committed with single shot muzzle loaders or even antique ones.

Would the Statist/Left and the MSM ignore the "gun angle" finally and focus on the actual CRIME? Or would they go on a witch-hunt over the "black powder loophole"?

What about Assault Subways?  There have been two attacks recently in New York.  Just yesterday there was an attempted attack in Philadelphia.  We need some rapid legislation banning subway trains that move.  When they move, they can assault humans.

AJ, the media has all but ignored mass killings where cars or other objects have been used. In the week following the Stockton, CA shootings in 1989, some guy with a big Cadillac or Chrysler just decided to break down the fence for the playground at a nursery school, and run down a bunch of toddlers and a couple of teachers.  There was barely a mention in the press.

Those old BP guns with large caliber pure lead bullets caused absolutly horrific wounds.  If the bullit hit bone the bullet would splinter and lead would splatter around inside the body, along with shards of bone......
I've seen photos of soldiers who ... "survived" being shot.  Those old guns truly did tear human beings up.
And of course back then most people died from sepsis.  The idea of sanitation and antiseptics were next to unknown.

Sort of.  I'm reconsidering the use of high capacity Belgian beer containers, and high alcohol content.   
Thinking that only shots should be served now.  I've done only shots before...but I can't remember how that worked out.
