I wonder about the collectable nature of a NIB fully accessorized zombie gun 100 years from now
"The true mad scientist does not make public appearances! He does not wear the "Hello, my name is.." badge!
He strikes from below like a viper or on high like a penny dropped from the tallest building around!
He only has one purpose--Do bad things to good people! Mit science! What good is science if no one gets hurt?!"

Are you kidding?  They'll be worn out.  Since the shortage began, I've already noticed more Zombies roaming along the local roadways. Use them...or have you brain eaten...it's just common sense.

Zombies fulfill our need for a "Them".  In the past that has been Indians, Krauts, Huns, Nazi's, Nips, Gooks, Slopes, Commies, Terrorists or whatever other term of derision we used for whomever then current "Badguys" are.

Since is is now politically incorrect to single out any group or tribe of people as the "Badguys" without inflaming the sensitives of some mouthpiece .org representing that group, zombies (and aliens to a lesser extent)  fill that niche/void of "Badguy" without insulting any group.

I don't see that going away anytime soon.
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

^^Right on the money.
"Knowledge will forever govern ignorance, and a people who mean to be their own governors, must arm themselves with the power knowledge gives. A popular government without popular information or the means of acquiring it, is but a prologue to a farce or a tragedy or perhaps both"

I think the hype regarding Zeds is over blown, the guns, ammo boxes, gun sights etc emblazoned with zombie silliness.

That said, I dearly love a good Zombie book or movie.   =D

I think the Gun Gripers have an interesting take on it, though they are certainly not griping about it. Very supportive, in fact.

And if I could add my own gripe about the zombie stuff, I guess the zombie ammo and zombie-themed guns hit me the same way as the magazine/internet ads with the hot gun babes. I think both portray the "gun culture" as a Walter Mitty fantasy. I think we have had the chance, over the past several years, to show that guns can be mainstream. They can be, should be, owned and carried by housewives and artists and boringly practical accountants, and everyone in between. To an extent, I think there's been some success there, but using zombies and bimbos to sell guns seems to hold us back.

But, as people have pointed out, the zombies appear to be helping us with a certain demographic. Maybe the hot lady ads help, too.  ???
