Need a new 3/8 drill corded and recommendations?
« on: February 23, 2013, 03:29:41 PM »
My current 3/8 dewalt drill has bit the dust, more specifically some sort of gear inside is stripped.
I considered fixing it but not sure if it was worth it. Must be 10 years old and been through hell.
So I'm looking for small 3/8 key less chuck with good power. Any recommendations? I willing to spend more than 30 bucks so no bd, skill or other harbor freight type junk.
I needed a mod to change my signature because the concept of "family friendly" eludes me.
Just noticed that a mod changed my signature. How long ago was that?

Milwaukee is still a good brand.

Milwaukee, from their Magnum line. Should be around $100-130
A plan is just a list of things that doesn't happen.
Is defenestration possible through the overton window?

^ Thats what I have, except 1/2". Good tool, worth the hundred bucks. I got mine on sale at Northern Tool.

(first hit. Can probably be had a little cheaper)

Same here, mine is ~20 years old and has some serious power.  Sucker threw me off a ladder once when a lag screw it was driving bound up!

Ordered the Milwaukee, found it for about 105 shipped. Not a bad deal.
