Was watching a program on Israeli settlers in the West Bank (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dq1LK2qMwLA).  Setting aside the volatile politics and the narrator's apparent bias, I have a couple of questions:

1) What make/model of bullpup is being used at the shooting range (2:13 mark)?

2) How difficult is it for an Israeli settler to legally obtain a firearm?  Is it easier for such a person than for a resident of, say, Tel Aviv?

1. It is impossible for most people in Tel-Aviv to obtain a firearm. Settlers are eligible for 1 pistol permit/person on account of them living in a 'danger zone'. The legal settlements can also loan or rent rifles and other longarms from the Army and police they then issue to citizens. Typically and sadly these are kept in armories or carried by settlers.

2. I am of the belief this is a Micro-Tavor. Some firearms are also owned by various organizations like shooting ranges.
