man my leg hurts like heck
« on: April 30, 2013, 03:31:59 PM »
and i am so grateful!  it hurts a lot less thamn it did.
never work on cleaning up a 3 year old pile of rotting logs in sandals.  you'll scare the black widows.  and those lil beasties bite.  and it smarts a bit
It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

Like I tell my son, some times it's better to wear "grown up clothes"
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

Do you want us to take you out back and put you out of your misery? Like a lame horse.
I needed a mod to change my signature because the concept of "family friendly" eludes me.
Just noticed that a mod changed my signature. How long ago was that?

Corrected for accuracy.

I'm only a little over an hour from Muskogee. If anyone ever happens to be in the area stop in and see our submarine.

Which way?  My dad was born near Inola.

Which way?  My dad was born near Inola.

Mostly North, Northeast corner of Rogers County.
When I was in school I dated a girl from Inola for awhile. Her dad was a big wig at the Blackfox nuke plant that was under construction at the time.
Local 'tards managed to kill it with fear.

I bet that I still have distant relatives in that area.  I don't know of any though.

My grandfather moved the family to west Texas about 1941.  My dad drove a 2-ton stake truck out there at age 15.
