"He loved the feel of wood. It came alive in his hands," his wife, Kathleen Harney, said of Kruzel, who taught wood shop in the Milwaukee Public Schools for 31 years.

Awwwww.

I'm hoping mine will read "He finally pissed off enough people."  (Apparently not having done so is the only reason I'm still here.  I keep trying, but .....)

stay safe.
If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of a constitutional privilege.

Hey you kids!! Get off my lawn!!!

They keep making this eternal vigilance thing harder and harder.  Protecting the 2nd amendment is like playing PACMAN - there's no pause button so you can go to the bathroom.

I'm very tempted to arrange a hit on my own funeral. Figure the majority of folks there would be going to make sure I was dead. That, or provide a stick for poking the corpse.
"Rev, your picture is in my King James Bible, where Paul talks about "inventors of evil."  Yes, I know you'll take that as a compliment."  - Fistful, possibly highest compliment I've ever received.

I've already asked a friend to dress as the Grim Reaper for mine, and just stand there without speaking to or acknowledging anybody.

Get more friends in on it to claim they don't see him.
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

<snicker>

I'm contemplating writing up funeral guidelines.  Not planning on croaking any time soon* but, I've seen enough happen at funerals I don't like** that should be nipped in the bud.

*Based on ancestry, depending on which side of the family I take after worse, I've got 15 to 30 years left.

**No "celebration of life" crap for me.
In thy presence is fulness of joy.
At thy right hand pleasures for evermore.

I want to propped up in a rocking chair with a motion sensor that triggers a recording every time someone walks up.

"Hey, how do I look?"

"Dude, I feel better then you look."

etc, etc.
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

A little drift:  One of our radio stations in GR is WOOD.  An advert that they run numerous times during the day is "Wake up with WOOD in the morning." :P =D

I was tempted to do that. But I had to give a speech.

I was very tempted to rickroll the funeral, as I had to put the selection together.
