It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

Looks interesting. My folks used to make peach ice cream about once a week when peaches were in season. I never found any store bought that even came close.
That's also a pretty funny story at the link (about the chocolate cake and ice cream).
Reminds me of the time my dad told my mom that he didn't like what she made for supper. She said, I've made this for you for twenty years. He said, yeah...and I never liked it.

I guess that might be OK but for me a big part of the experience of "home made ice cream" is the making of it with a hand cranked, wooden bucket, metal churn assembly and busting up blocks of ice and dumping rock salt on to the ice.
That being said I haven't done it in decades =(
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.
