Politicians and bureaucrats are considered productive if they swarm the populace like a plague of locust, devouring all substance in their path and leaving a swath of destruction like a firestorm. The technical term is "bipartisanship".

Sad day.   :'(

I saw them live about a year and a half ago, at a local festival.  Played an outdoor stage for about 2500+ people in Chandler, at the Ostrich Festival.

I was so jazzed to see them live.  Figured I'd never get to see a classic band like that, and just stumbled across them playing.  Didn't cost me anything to see them, just the ticket into the festival.

I once turned down a free ticket to see Boston. Shortly thereafter, the singer committed suicide.

Bummer.

On the plus side, i'm going to see megadeth and maiden soon

Oh, was hoping for Nissan Pavilion Jiffy Lube Live since it's quite literally just down the road from me. :)

That brought back memories of Jack Daniels (blech) and that song on many High School Friday nights. That song used to play a lot at a place called "The Cross" which was a Spanish Missionary cross up on a hill overlooking town where all the kids would go to park and make out. Seemed like it would blast from every other car.

I suppose since there was likely a lot of "Little Death" going on, that it was appropriate.

around 1990 i saw boc at a small venue in rome ny called "colemans rodeo club".  contrary to the country themed name it was strictly a rock and roll/metal bar.  boc rocked the place with a capacity crowd.  after the show they just hung out and were very approachable.  i remember talking with the bass player about his sound and the rig he used.  it's a shame they won't be makin' music anymore.

lol, that was a funny SNL skit.
DFTR is a great tune - really conjures up the seventies for me every time I hear it.
I really like "Godzilla" funny funny tune.

I saw them about 6 years ago. Pretty well aged but still had a good stage show.

I see what you did there! ;)

Great band and they will be missed.

DFTR was my gateway drug to rock and roll.
I shall not die alone, alone, but kin to all the powers,
As merry as the ancient sun and fighting like the flowers.

Saw them in Indy twice.  Once at the Sherwood (a club where up-and-comers played along with those-that-will-never-make-it) and again at Market Square Arena.  (Can't remember if they were headliners or the opening act.)

I've got a (probably rip-off) "Best Of" CD that we listen to occasionally on roadtrips.  Robert like ME-262.
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.
