Patients and doctors can thank their nearest drug warrior for putting them in that horrific double bind.

Or they could thank the dope fiends and doctors who cater to them and profit from it. Their actions and greed are "why we can't have nice things"

It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

There were dope fiends before drug prohibition, during drug prohibition and if we ever get there, post drug prohibition. Silly and poorly thought out laws never help anyonbe but tyrants.
BTW, without the drug warrior side of the coin, there cannot possibly be 'doctors who cater to them (dope fiends) and profit.."
I know what fun is that? I mean America is such a better place when we can ban desireable and easy to produce and/or natural substances so that we put more people in prison. Besides, all of that confiscated drug money buys our federal police forces all kinds of tactical fetish gear that statists love to masturbate over.

Your conceptions and ideas of how drugs and the world of people who use them is quite interesting. It lacks congruency with reality however.  And this "fetish gear that statists masturbate over" is most amusing. I think the word is "projection"

Could you expand on " btw, without the drug warrior side of the coin, there cannot possibly be "doctors who prey on them etc"
