I'm curious...

Not to cause thread-veer, but how has Myspace become so popular?

I get the whole blogging, friend-adding, life-sharing experience.

I just don't get the layout of it.  To me, Myspace pages are laid out horrendously.  What little format there is seems like it has been shat on and then trampled by an elephant.

It offends my delicate sensibilities.

Particularly the ones that have some eye-crossing, epileptic background with the light colored text that's impossible to read without selecting & highlighting it first.  Not to mention all the embedded media that starts playing automatically, interrupting whatever favorite bit of music I have playing.

angry

Now, on topic...

Can you reply to them and tell them you're not that desperate for a friend?

cheesy

Only reason I have a myspace account is to keep in touch with some old friends and for the music aspect.

I wish I would have told them I wasn't that deperate for their friendship before I hit the deny button.

I use myspace mostly to listen to bands before I got see them or buy their cd.

I don't like it for much else.

I love myspace most of the times.  I have many different pages that cater to my different intrests and hobbies.  Most of the pages I can't even remember.  I do tend to mess up on the HTML coding while customizing my page.  Oh well nobodys perfect.
