Call of Duty: Ghosts
« on: November 05, 2013, 07:11:17 AM »
So I will stop at Wally World on the way into work and buy the new COD.  I will be interested to compare it to the new Battlefield 4 that I bought last week.

So, the Wally World by my house did not have the new COD out on the shelves at 0615.  Neither of the two people stocking shelves in Electronics spoke English, so they were no help.  I am going to try the Fred Meyer by the office.

Geez, I snagged one of the very last copies for the PC at 0708, eight minutes after the store opened. They were open at midnight and had quite a run on the game.  They still had several copies for the PS3 and Xbox 360 left.  Based on the reviews, this should be good.

Played it for about a 1/2 hour and it is pretty good.

Up to an hour now in the single player.  I am unpleasantly surprised at the quality of the graphics.  I am getting great frame rates, it is just that the graphics are so relatively blocky; like something from several years ago.

Odds are it is much less bug-ridden than BF4. But BF4 will no doubt be fixed in the next few weeks. EA doesn't care to bug test.
