It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

She's doing what autistic/asperger's will do:  Repeating what she's seen or heard.  And what she's seen/heard is people hamming up the SSB.

For her age, aside from mispronouncing several of the words (doubtless just parroting the way she thought she had heard them), she did pretty well. I much prefer this rendition to those of any number of big "names" who have willfully massacred the Anthem.

It's not the mispronunciations.  It's the hitches, hesitations, and doubling.  "the-uh" is the biggest thing that trips my trigger of disappointment.  There are others.  It's almost as bad as listening to someone gasping in breath while playing the flute.

No, I'm not going to walk down there and stuff a gag in her mouth.  She does not appear to be trying to embelish - she just needs a bit more practice, or perhaps some training.

For me the SSB is like bugle calls - either it's right or it's not.  YMMV.
