I want them to get this into as many theaters as possible. So no standing in the way! Don't protest this, let it happen.
Then we will get some solid numbers about how many people are actually willing to spend money to see such a movie. It's likely that the per-screen average will be so low that it will be one of the worst performing movies ever. That will take a lot of wind out of their sails.
Now, if I was the NRA I would make a movie as well and release it on the same day in the same theaters and that will give us a definite ratio of pro-gun support to anti-gun support.
EDIT: I forgot to reference another post of mine where I mentioned that pro-gun to anti-gun sentiment in the comments at Yahoo news stories runs 6, 8, 10 or more to one. So I expect an NRA movie to do at least as well.
