Spies in our midst!

Pshaw!  Based on the responses to date, RevDisk and I are clearly the pinko Commie Socialists here.  I would type more, but I have to go off and perform some abortions, officiate at a gay wedding, raise minimum wages and throw some guns into the smelter.   But I will have a clean desk in doing so, so there may be hope.  =D

You're 30% conservative, 70% liberal.

Liberal qualities

    You have a messy desk
    You think self-expression trumps self-control
You think it's okay for your partner to look at porn alone
    You use a modern browser
You wish there were no countries
You prefer the Met to Times Square

Conservative qualities

You like dogs more than cats
You prefer action movies to documentaries
You think kids should respect authority
You're not wild about fusion cuisine
You think the government should treat the lives of its citizens as much more valuable than those of other countries
You're proud of your country's history

I don't mind being a moderate.  All but a couple of my answers were "slightly" agree or disagree.  And none of them were "strongly" agree or disagree.

Fact is this quiz is simplistic enough to be pointless.  Fusion cuisine is an indicator or political views?  What!?!?!?

The issue is not whether an individual self-identifies as liberal/conservative; the issue is that so many people think it makes a difference.  Why would the condition of a person's desk affect my opinion of them?  And if I did judge them because their personal preference of desk condition is different than mine, what does that have to do with them?  I am responsible for my judgements of others, if I'm going to judge someone based on their desk, or their porn viewing habits, or whatever, that's on me.  My judgements are mine and mine alone.  As are yours . . . .

No.  Stupid test, with a linear agree--disagree scale, mapping you on a linear liberal--conservative scale.

I might, for instance, favor self control over self expression.  But, why?  Is "because it's a biblical virtue and self expression isn't" even on their radar?

Any my linux boxen don't even have IE.  So there.

We had them two night ago.

In a bowl mix ground beef with Ginger, Garlic, Onion, Brown Sugar.  Cut up cabbage very finely (like slaw), and one carrot into matchsticks, mix in large bowl with soy sauce, rice vinegar, and crushed red pepper flakes to make a slaw.
Brown meat mix.
Put meat in tortillas, top with slaw and enjoy.

They are very good, Robert said to put them in the rotation.

Heroin is only an ingredient in North Korean (or Afghan) Tacos.

Been there once.  It was "meh",* except for the MMA.  I'd go to MMA again, if it was somewhere else.

*- Yes, didn't even rate a capital "M".

Oh, that sounds good....I will have to inform SWMBO.

It's not that they think those drive the views, it is that previous surveys have indicated that conservatives tend to have preference one way and liberals have preferences the other direction.

These had been found to be correlated to political views. That is why they are using the test to see how accurate using these correlations are. (The reason for the question at the end asking how you rate yourself.)

Very likely it is some other factor driving being conservative and liking a neat desk, not that only conservatives like neat desks.
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

What if you're a libertarian/anarchist  ???

Bingo !!!  That's the exact recipe I used.

However, you will have to get your own heroin from Fistful.
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.

Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.
